CAROLYN KRAMER is pleased to present LINEAR PERSPECTIVE, a series of geometric line paintings by Jarrad Tacon-Heaslip. Those familiar with his work will recognize Tacon-Heaslip’s signature style of hand-painted acrylic lines and resin paint, yet this exhibition brings a fresh and innovative nod to geometry previously unseen. Wood panels of different shapes, including diptychs and triptychs, squares of various sizes, circles, captivate viewers with their meticulous precision and bold, colorful aesthetic.

Originally from New Zealand, Tacon-Heaslip draws from the country’s modern and post-modern architecture as inspiration and vision for his crisp and vibrant line paintings. The work is not just aesthetically appealing, but also emotionally stimulating, and Tacon-Heaslip encourages viewers to enjoy his art through feeling and experience how each piece provokes an emotional instinct. Each piece is just that, an experience, through methodically chosen colors, precise hand-painted lines, and masterful resin application. LINEAR PERSPECTIVE is expressive, captivating, and effortlessly sophisticated.
